Mr. L's Tribal inspired Room

Designing your own child's room is almost as hard as doing it for a client.
I
must admit, I had so much fun putting Mr L's Tribal inspired big boys room together (It reminded me of putting his nursery corner together when I was 6 months pregnant).

Mr Luka is one very active and curious child, so everything had to be kept to a bare minimum ensuring that sleep time doesnt turn in to play time ;)

I've decided to go with more natural look and so that the main pieces in the room can grow with Mr L, I've opted for a simple colour pallet.
To bring some colour and contrast to the room I have added some splashes of orange and yellow via accessories, a large black/white striped rug as well as a gorgeous crossed cushion to tie the whole room together.

I have opted for a big Native American head piece print as an center piece of the room. While there are some amazing illustrations out there (check this one http://www.urbanroad.com.au/shop/2013-autumn/indian-war-bonnet-blue/), I've decided to use my ''arty'' side and give this a go.

Im hopping to have Mr. L's room done by the end of the month and when it is completed I will share some pictures with you as well as the links to all the items used.

In the meantime please have a look at some tribal inspired items i came across while sourcing for Mr. L's
 room.

    1. Thank you Damien. I was going for something simple and natural, so it can grow with my little one
